graduation at malaika

Graduation is one of the most meaningful milestones in a Malaika student’s journey. Many of our graduates began at the Malaika School as young girls and have grown into confident young women ready to pursue higher education and careers and to give back to their communities.

From Malaika to the World

Malaika graduates are already beginning to represent their community beyond Kalebuka. Five members of the Class of 2023, now studying in India, joined Noëlla Coursaris Musunka at the Raisina Dialogue 2025 in New Delhi, where they shared their Malaika journeys and spoke about their career aspirations on a global stage.

Their stories reflect what is possible when girls are given access to quality education, consistent support, and the opportunity to imagine a future beyond the barriers around them.

supporting the next step

Every Malaika graduation is both an ending and a beginning. It marks the completion of a student’s school journey and the start of her next chapter as a university student, trainee, professional, leader, and changemaker.

By supporting Malaika, you help graduates continue building pathways to higher education, employment, and leadership.
