2011
AGED 5
Louise steps into a classroom for the very first time, the first girl in her family to attend school. This moment marks the beginning of a life-changing journey at Malaika.

2017
AGED 11
Six years later, Louise stands tall in New York City, sharing her story at Malaika’s 10-year anniversary. From a small village in Kalebuka to the global stage, her confidence and voice are already inspiring others.

2020
AGED 15
A star both in the classroom and on the tennis court, Louise is thriving. Her passion for technology begins to take shape, and her victories in tennis competitions show her self-confidence and discipline.

2023
AGED 18
Louise becomes one of the first students to graduate from Malaika’s school. Her graduation ceremony, attended by class president EVE, is a landmark moment - shifting the narrative of what it means to be a girl growing up in rural Congo.

2025
AGED 20
Today, Louise is on a full scholarship at Symbiosis Institute in Pune, India, studying civil engineering. From no access to education to building a future in one of the world’s most critical fields: her journey is proof of what’s possible when girls are empowered.
